Bridget, these stamps are absolutely adorable and I love the concept. Your illustrations are really strong, especially the Boston Terrier (I might be biased because that’s my favorite dog breed). The colors you chose are really beautiful too, and I mentioned this in class but choosing a consistent way to color the states and the backgrounds would be helpful to the overall design. This is also a small, picky thing but the leading seems a little loose on the American Cocker Spaniel text. I really love your idea, the execution just needs very small fine tunings.
I think the concept of dogs for your stamp series is pretty clever and as said before about the consistency in typography and coloring would apply for these three stamps. But if there were more stamps (which stamp sheets include more than three) you can definitely keep those inconsistencies as long as they were repeated throughout other stamps.
