Ok so I am in love with your shark an dour octopus. I wish you could keep the octopus the way it is using only Os, but since we are supposed to use all the letters I guess you can’t do that. I just think it looks so graceful and I can really tell that you put a lot of time into the design of how you wanted the tentacles to flow. The perspective that you used for the shark is also very nice to look at. I like that you didn’t just do a standard side profile of the shark but rather showed the shark from the front. The only thing I would say needs work is the front of the face/nose area of the whale. The “e” in the whale just doesn’t seem to work as well with the subject as the other letters do. Overall you did an amazing job and I’m jealous.
I love everyone of your illustrations. I think they work very nicely together as a series. I would have to say my favorite one is the octopus. The way you arranged the tentacles is just so appealing even though you only used the o’s. It really shows how much effort you put into this project. The only criticism I have would be to maybe lighten the k’s a little in the sharks mouth. My eye goes directly toward them so it is a little distracting. Other than that you did a great job.
