After reading the advice from last year’s class, I realized the importance of time management. It’s wise to follow the requirements carefully and start things early. I also knew that I should think of more concepts and spend time sketching instead of making a draft abstractedly as I had done in the past. Moreover, a designer should not be afraid to start over and try something new. I was attracted by Rachel’s advice on doing work that makes you happy and proud of and Dani’s idea that says “Your design is never 100% complete.” Designing is satisfying because I can create something I love. However, it’s significant to know that there’s always room for improvement. I’m looking forward to starting the journey with Professor Strong and my peers!
