As a world-champ procrastinator, the biggest piece of advice that I will take into this class is starting early. I love design, so whenever I get a new project, I jump right in immediately. In those first couple of hours, not only do I sketch different concepts, create a long and detailed pinterest mood board, but I also typically start turning my favorite idea into reality. Sadly, this in when it all stops. After that first burst of passion and energy, I almost never go back to that project until the VERY last minute. I think I just do so many activities that after my first intense planning session, I get caught up in whatever my next big project is and forget to go back to my other ones. Considering this semester is defintiely going to be a busy one, I’m going to have to be extremely careful with my time (but hey, that’s what my agenda is for, right?).
