The thing I resonate most after reading the suggestions is actually not directly about design, but about time arrangement. One of the students said that it is always a good idea to start a project early and I found it very important. I have to admit that I often start doing a project when it cannot be put off. Well, apparently, that creates a horrible time. So, for me the biggest task I set for myself for this semester is to form the habit of starting projects ahead of time. I realized that a good idea may be generated in a short time, but a good design cannot. It takes time for a designer to adjust his or her design so that it can be strong and effective. In order to do that we need to listen to others’ suggestions and compare with different versions. This procedure takes time and cannot be omitted. I guess my little calendar book might be a good start.
