  1. This is a great and clever series. It really did make me think of America, especially the 1950’s and 60’s when advertising was booming and consumerism was becoming an American characteristic. The objects you chose for each letter fit very well and they’re not things you would commonly connect to those letters, such as the use of two pants for the N. You also did a good job of keeping the typeface concise. However, although you picked a related topic, I personally feel like consumerism has a tinge of negativity attached and wouldn’t necessarily be interpreted on a stamp. But really great concept overall!

  2. I really love how you incorporated type into your stamps and I find the personal illustrations intriguing and fun. One thing I think you could work on is the message. Maybe keep the same illustrative quality which makes the series light and fun, but choose a word which celebrates America in order to make it more marketable and communicate a more positive message. Overall, I really enjoyed your stamps and I look forward to seeing the final result!
