Expressive Type!

  1. You did a great job! I especially like seeing the contrast between your choices for “feminine” and “masculine.” The very thin script typeface for “feminine” compared to the boldness of the typeface for “masculine” really gives definition to those two words. One small thing that I think could be improved is your choice for “tired.” When I think of that word I think of having no energy and feeling very weak, so I think a typeface that is less bold would work better.

  2. I agree with Phil and would add that friendly, technical, foreign and frightened all convey well. I’m less certain about quickly (which feels too controlled to have been done quickly) and patriotic (whose cartoonishness I just can’t get past).
