As a young man growing up in Pittsburgh, Pa. I always loved football. The crunch, the crack of the pads, the cleats hitting the ground. Realizing my inability to reach the field due to genetic disadvantages, I chose to watch, study and learn about the sport. After my introduction to iPhone apps that allowed and users to completely change and manipulate a photos style, appearance, saturation, clarity, etc. I chose to take a photo class. I was able to manipulate my own photography, which was wonderful, but that alteration aspect kept coming back to me. The ability to change the meaning, interpretation and mood of an image fascinates me to this day. I think the power of design is immense enough to change an individual’s perspective of the world.
