Growing up I was always really good at math and anything that had to with numbers so I figured that by the time it came to college and choosing a school based on what major I wanted to pursue it would rotate around math. Then I got to my freshman year of high school when I signed up for a class called “Digital Imaging” because it sounded cool and it fulfilled my elective requirement for the year. We began to learn the basics of photoshop and that class is when I first one of my friends making a design of a football player. I was inspired to do the same thing. I got photoshop for Christmas that year and since I was unable to attend school after Thanksgiving that year, I had plenty of time to practice and learn the ins and outs of photoshop. I practiced for months and got pretty good with it. Thus, when I was looking at schools come junior/senior year I leaned towards schools with better graphic design programs since I found a love for it and wanted to continue to pursue it in the future.

Sounds like you’re in the right place at the right time, and I’m really looking forward to helping you evolve as a designer.
