I bought my first design book when I was in high school. For the first time, I’ve known that design can tell a story and I felt connected with design. However, my lack of drawing skills always deterred me from majoring in design. After changing my major three times, I finally embraced what I love — graphic design. I’m always amazed by the simplicity of design and the cleverness behind it. Designers are thoughtful and sensitive. They observe things that others neglect. Through this course, I want to equip myself with more knowledge and skills. I hope to create beautiful designs that communicate effectively as well.
