This is a very nice use of type as the timeline. The colors work very well however it runs a little close to the edge. You got to let it have a bit of space so the printer doesn’t cut some of the copy out by accident.
I really like the concept for your timeline! It is very visually appealing and really drew me in. The only thing I would change would be to try using a different color for the descriptions because they blend into the next date because they are both white.
Hi Emily … This is very, very nice. There’s a strong sense of hierarchy and order, and you use size and color and weight contrast well. Color palette is successful. Although I really want to like it, I do find myself quite bothered by the orientation of the text. It’s just too much to ask of a reader. Did you intend for it to be vertical?
