Before college, I switched my major in my head almost one million times. I went back and forth between teaching, translating, or being a veterinarian. However, once I found graphic design I fell in love with it. My close friend who recently graduated from SUNY Oneonta was a graphic design major who I watched complete many different design projects. I would watch him design websites for hours, and I became obsessed. Starting my senior year, I started to really pay attention to design in all places; clothing websites, my favorite snack packaging, and even the posters that decorated my school hallways. My favorite part of design is the way it makes me feel satisfied. One of the best feelings in life is looking at your own design and feeling satisfied because all the colors, fonts, and illustrations or images combine together perfectly.
